JOB SUMMARY:
The Finance Officer is responsible for providing financial and administrative support to colleagues, clients and stakeholders of the corporation.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
The Finance Officer is responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining cash controls, assisting in budget preparation and maintenance, policy implementation, banking functions, payroll processes, and oversight and direct supervision of Finance and Payroll staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Assisting in the preparation of budgets.
· Managing record and receipts.
· Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions.
· Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
· Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the accounting system.
· Preparing income and balance statements.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for financial management and Board of Directors.
· Create and implement financial policies and procedures to guarantee operational efficiency.
· Monitor all bank deposits and payments.
· Reconcile all bank accounts.
· Assist with audits including pre-audit and post-audit adjustments.
· Being a key point of contact for other departments and subsidiaries on financial and accounting matters.
· Supporting the C-Suite Executives with projects and tasks when required.
· Completes 60-day and annual evaluation of finance staff.
· Manages timesheet changes and approvals of finance staff in WFG.
· Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
